The Macau Museum of Art is the only art museum in Macau, and provides the largest space dedicated to visual arts. It is situated in the Cultural Centre of Macau in the Outer Harbour area, and was inaugurated on 19 March 1999, with a total area of more than 10,000 square meters and expositive capacity of almost 4,000 square meters.
