The Seaview Hotel is ideally located in Overseas China Town, and is within walking distance of a big departmental store and Walmart supermarket as well as a multitude of small individual shops. Three theme parks are located at the hotel's doorstep. A monorail train travelling around Overseas China Town linking together the 3 theme parks run right past the Seaview Hotel. A large part of the Seaview Hotel, including guest rooms, restaurants, bar, function rooms and lobby were fully refurbished in 2003 and 2004. A 'Food Street' selling a large variety of local dishes is located adjacent to the hotel.
